By Robynne: Hello beautiful souls! Summer in the Northern Hemisphere (Winter in the Southern Hemisphere) started with a celestial rollercoaster as the planets align for their annual dance of retrogrades in 2023. As the scorching sun bathes us in its warmth, the cosmic movements of Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Mercury, Uranus, and Jupiter are set to make a significant impact on our lives, inviting us to pause, reflect, and recalibrate our paths.
Kicking off the retrograde season is the enigmatic Pluto, which started its backwards journey on May 1 through October 10. With its shift from Aquarius to Capricorn on June 11, we need to prepare to confront the ghosts of our past, as old power struggles and unresolved conflicts resurface. This period provides a unique opportunity for growth and learning from previous experiences.
Next in line is stern Saturn, turning retrograde in Pisces from June 17 to November 4. Under its introspective gaze, we find ourselves contemplating our ambitions and questioning the relationships we invest our energy in. A moment of reflection and evaluation awaits as we strive for a clearer vision of our future goals.
As June turned to July, the mystical Neptune slips into retrograde mode in Pisces from June 30 to December 6. Our normally sharp intuition may falter during this phase, and we must be cautious of falling for self-deceptive narratives that lead us astray.
AND HERE WE ARE…
In the heart of summer, affectionate Venus joins the retrograde line-up, from July 22 to September 3, stationed in Leo. This planetary reversal stirs a craving for grand declarations of love and attention. Our desires intensify when met with a shortage of admiration and, likewise, when finances come into play.
As August arrives, the mischievous Mercury begins its retrograde in Virgo, from August 23 to September 15. Brace yourself for the return of old flames and past relationships as this transit throws us face-to-face with both the joys and sorrows of bygone days.
Simultaneously, Uranus enters retrograde motion in Taurus, taking baby steps toward evolution from August 28 to January 27, 2024. Progress may feel slow during this period, but embracing the present moment is key to avoiding frustration amidst this transformative process.
Rounding off the summer retrogrades is expansive Jupiter, retrograding in Taurus from September 4 to December 30. This shift urges us to take calculated risks and look beyond the surface, reminding us to read the fine print before venturing forth.
The summer retrogrades of 2023 promise to be a time of introspection, learning, and growth. Embrace the opportunities they bring to reassess your life’s path, heal old wounds, and prepare for a brighter future ahead. Remember, the cosmos has a way of guiding us if we remain open to its wisdom.
