Why Do I Keep Repeating the Same Relationship Patterns?<\/p>\n

Clients often come to a reading with a question about someone else. Does she love me? Will he come back? Is this relationship going to last? Is there someone else?<\/p>\n

These questions matter. But sometimes there is another question underneath them, one that is harder to ask:<\/p>\n

Why does this keep happening to me?<\/p>\n

You meet someone new. The connection feels different. You believe this relationship might finally be different from the ones before it. Yet eventually, something familiar begins to appear. The same distance. The same loneliness. The same uncertainty. The same painful ending.<\/p>\n

When this happens, we often look for someone to blame. We blame the other person, the circumstances, or ourselves. But there is another way to approach the pattern.<\/p>\n

What is being repeated through me?<\/p>\n

This question changes the conversation.<\/p>\n

In my work with clients, I have found that relationship patterns often reach further back than the relationship itself. Some come from our own experiences. Some are formed through our relationships with our parents. Others reach further back into the family.<\/p>\n

This is where ancestral patterns become especially interesting. We inherit more than physical characteristics from our families. We also grow up surrounded by relationship patterns, beliefs, expectations, wounds, loyalties, and ways of responding to love and conflict. We might carry something forward without ever consciously choosing it.<\/p>\n

Astrology gives us a way to look at those threads.<\/p>\n

I think of the relational field as a guitar.<\/p>\n

The strings represent the different threads connecting us to our history. Some belong to our own experiences. Others connect us to our parents and grandparents. Some reach further into our ancestry.<\/p>\n

Each string carries a note. Some strings are loose. Some are tight. Some have been under tension for a long time. When a relationship touches one of those strings, the string vibrates. We feel the vibration.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the intensity of our response seems much greater than what is happening in the present moment. A particular relationship touches something familiar, and suddenly we are responding from a place we don’t fully understand.<\/p>\n

We might think we are reacting only to what this person has said or done. Yet something older has been touched.<\/p>\n

Over time, those strings create a melody.<\/p>\n

This is one reason you might find yourself experiencing similar relationship dynamics with completely different people. The people change, but certain notes keep appearing.<\/p>\n

The purpose of a relationship reading isn’t simply to tell you what another person feels or whether they will return. Those questions have their place, but there is often much more beneath them.<\/p>\n

A deeper reading asks: What is happening between you? What does this relationship activate in you? Where might this pattern have begun? Which parts belong to your own history, and which threads reach back through your family? <\/p>\n

Once you begin to see the pattern, you have more information about your choices.<\/p>\n

The goal isn’t to reject your family history or blame previous generations. You don’t need to cut every string connecting you to the past. Some strings need to be tightened. Some need to be loosened. Some simply need to be heard clearly enough for you to understand the note they carry.<\/p>\n

And sometimes, you realise a particular string was never yours to begin with.<\/p>\n

This is where astrology becomes a powerful tool for relationship work. It gives us a map for exploring not only the person in front of you, but also the history you may have carried into the relationship without knowing you were carrying it.<\/p>\n

Because sometimes the question isn’t, \u201cIs this the right person?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sometimes the more revealing question is:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat pattern brought me here?\u201d<\/p>\n
